LFLTA Teacher of the Year
Dear LFLTA members,
It is an honor to announce the opening of nominations for the 2022 LFLTA Teacher of the Year.
This award is intended to elevate the status and the public profile of the language profession in the state of Louisiana by recognizing accomplished members of our profession.
Nominations are open to all current members of LFLTA. Everyone is encouraged to nominate an outstanding member of our profession. Self nominations are accepted. Candidates for the award must be a full time foreign language teacher with three years of full time teaching experience in a foreign language in Louisiana with the expectation of teaching for at least two additional years.
Candidates must be able to attend the 2022 LFLTA Conference in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The winner of the 2022 LFLTA Teacher of the Year is also encouraged to attend the SCOLT 2023 Conference and compete for the award at the regional level.
