LFLTA is the state's affiliate of ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages).
It is designed to provide opportunities for world language teachers to attend educational and practical workshops and presentations. LFLTA hosts a conference each winter, which allows teachers to share ideas and discuss world language issues.
LFLTA is a member of the Southern Conference on Language Teaching, SCOLT.
Annual dues - $25.
Membership in LFLTA is from conference to conference.
